The garden awakes.

At last the flowers are beginning to bloom, a sign of whats to come after a long wet and windy winter. As usual I have had a busy winter making my crafts to sell during the season. There have been some visitors to my shop already this year,Kelpie is spring cleaned and ready to go, I've made lots more shelves in the shop to carry all my new paintings, Painted alot of small acylics this winter,  will suit  holiday makers who are flying home etc or the visitor who just wants to take home a small reminder of their time on Skye. Needle felted pictures were my main sellers last year and its looking like it will be the same this year.so I have alot of work to do  before the season really gets started and with only 2 weeks left before lambing I'm going to be  rather busy.

Two new additions to the family are Smokey and Nosey, 2 kittens that found me last august after their mother was killed on the road. They are nearly fully grown now and are more than happy to live in the shed with the sheep, They love to play with the fishing rod with a red fury mouse on the end, propper time wasters ,ha ha. they have won my heart. Tess has a love/hate relationship with them. She's missing the sheep work, not the same when they are all in pens and won't run. Right now she is quite happy sleeping infront of a peat fire.

Thankyou to you all who stayed in Kelpie last year, looking forward to a busy season again this year, Linda
